And I'm not just being biased now. I was very disappointed with Britney's video and if you look in the teasers thread you would know I was actually excited for the video, but instead of complaining and starting any drama after the premiere, I decided not to ruin your party, if you ever had one, so I didn't say a word. I haven't even been to the thread since.
I guess this is the perfect place to say what I think without being accused of coming to Britney's threads just to be negative and because I'm pressed
It's obvious that you can't stay the same dancer forever but it didn't even look like Britney was trying. And where was the crazy choreography Friedman was talking about!? It simply just looked like "5,6,7,8, step, step, step" and it was just not anywhere near mind-blowing. I did like the "karate kid" battle she had with herself but that's about it. I know Gaga has used lots of products in Telephone for example but at least it fit to the storyline. Can't say the same about HIAM.
Born This Way, I will admit, took a couple times for me to watch before it all fell together, there's new things I pay attention to as I watch it again and new ideas for what I think it's trying to tell us. It fascinates me how brilliant Gaga is as an artist and even though she might not be the best dancer, this video is very much Gaga. I love the colors, I love the storyline, and I love the editing. Very good video.
I know Britney has it somewhere, I'm just waiting for it to show. I have faith in her for the next video.
