After the wild success of her debut single “Whip My Hair,” 10-year-old pop star Willow Smith is set to premiere her second single “21st Century Girl” this Monday, February 28 at 7:30AM PT/10:30AM ET with “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” and RyanSeacrest.com. The single will be sold exclusively on iTunes beginning at midnight, Tuesday, March 1st.
Smith has tweeted over the past few weeks of her excitement for the release of “21 Century Girl,” also mentioning her upcoming album by asking her fans, “Are you excited for my album?!(: It’s coming soon……..VERY soon!!”
Smith will perform the song for the first time ever on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” soon.
I think the only reason why Whip My Hair had decent success was coz of the silly lyrics. I mean, everyone and their mama was whipping their hair back and forth after the song/video.
