I don't think either need a break according to anybody's standards. In fact statements like these bother me because there's the implication that because their celebrities their personal life stops when they're in the limelight. It reminds me of how ghetto black blogs used to constantly say Beyonce should sit down and have some kids.
There's also the implication that to not taking a long, extended break is somehow abnormal, despite the fact that 99% of working Americans are on their grind much more than they are, and don't get pampered along the way.
Neither, I think Katy should take a nice long break.
WTF? Katy has stopped for some long months before Teenage Dream I missed her a lot!
Edit: Just saw some other souls saying Katy should take a long break . Katy Perry as I said took a break before TD, and she got way better, Lady GaGa never took a break.
i say both deserve a break but id say gaga needs it more !!

but anyways rihanna always goes on vacations and has fun (the pics that we see dont lie ) but gaga on the other hand i never see pics of her on vacation its always pics from concerts or promo stuff thats why she needs it more !

True. Altho most working people don't suffer from overexposure, but besides that, very true..

Rihanna doesn't need breaks, she's absolutely healthy and full of energy. Working hard isn't taking its toll on her.
GaGa, on the other hand, looks so tired and weak, it's getting ugly. So my vote's for her.
I voted Rih because It would be logical to take a few months off after Loud.....but that's only after the 4th single.
Gaga just started her new era and is looking great these days I see no need for a break.
