Oh no! I totally forgot to submit my list. Can I still vote, please?
Britney Spears, performing Everytime: The most beautifully honest track Britney has ever put to record. [10]
No Doubt, performing Simple Kind of Life: The pain in Gwen's voice is irresistible. I could listen to this song until the end of time. [9]
Janelle Monae, performing Cold War: I've never been a big Janelle Monae fan, but this song has me seriously considering changing my mind. All the potential I've ever heard attributed to her is perfectly matched by this gripping symphony of a song. [8]
Wynter Gordon, performing Dirty Talk: I can't lie, this song has been getting a lot of spins on my iTunes recently. Maybe sometimes my inner **** just needs to come out and play? [7]
Pink, performing Family Portrait: Not nearly Pink's best, but it has a certain off-kilter appeal. [6]
Adele, performing Melt My Heart to Stone: I love Adele and her best songs command me to pay attention. I'm perfectly happy to let this one drift into the background, but it's still lovely. [5]
Beyoncé, performing Halo: Beyonce's ballads have always been a weak spot. I really liked this one when it first came out, but it hasn't held up for me. I don't think it sounds very fresh or exciting any more. [4]
Fiona Apple, performing Paper Bag: Fiona's best asset is that she has such an interesting voice. Unfortunately, not all her songs live up to that. This one starts off very promisingly, but its quirkiness never really goes anywhere. [3]
Chris Brown, performing With You: Chris Brown's spotty discography seems to veer from completely irresistible to totally boring. This song is certainly no "Forever"... [2]
M.I.A., performing Bucky Done Gun: It sounds like a deaf person tried to re-record "Boyz." I like M.I.A., but what is this ****ery? [1]
