I don't think Natalia is trying to be like Gaga. I really think the two just have similar perspectives on how to handle a career in music, a love for art. They are around the same people, though. Laurieann Gibson, Cherrytree, Akon, Fernando, and etc. At the sametime I expect to see Natalia walk around in a lampshade! Not necessarily because of Gaga, but because that's who she is. I don't think she'll ever get to express that side of her though without getting compare to Gaga.

I've seen numerous interviews where she says she's flattered by the comparison but she's looking forward to proving herself as a different artist.

In this interview she says the comparisons bug her because they're not fair to Gaga, not because she's seen as a copycat... did most of you even watch it before you tore her apart?

She's very Gaga-like, but let's give her a chance to show how she's different. At least she has some interesting visuals and a lot of artistic integrity, unlike other Gaga copycats I could name.

Pop, negative connotation and refabricated? She had 3 personas before: Natalia Cappucini, Verbz, Verbalicious and now she's Natalia Kills. She is the pure definition for following the hype/direction of popularity (now: darker pop).

She's also with a lot of labels and Cherrytree. They are using the same strategy to let Mirrors be a slow hit, like Just Dance...

Anyways, I like her music. But persona not that much.

Ding! She gets on my damn nerves with how hard she tries to be unique.

I feel bad for here because the art and the costumes are probably who she really is, but that's not gonna stop the comparisons.

People aren't gonna say "there's two popstars who share the same vision on pop music." It's always going to be seen as one person copying the other.
