If iamamiwhoami was Xtina...
Do you think she wont flop? i was so sure that it was her she could easily slayed if its really her, even media praise and expect it to be her
now as we could see, both X and iamamiwhoami are going nowhere with their singles
do you think xtina will slay if she's iamamiwhoami? thoughts?

I SO wanted it to be Christina. It was such an amazing, out of the box type thing, which is what pop needs. Plus, it reminded me of things like the Fighter video. I love it
But, it wasn't.

Christina is not that creative. I said it when these videos started to come out. I can't believe some of you thought it was her.

If Christina were Iam, I think she would be highly praised right now for being innovative especially with the concert. Iam was probably the most ingenious project to come out in the last decade.
Still, Christina had a lot of potential to have a successful album, unfortunately those potentials were left off the album (Birds of Prey, Monday Morning, Little Dreamer). Little Dreamer actually has a bit of Iam sound.
As for Iam, I don't think it's their intention to actually go mainstream rather just to have their work be recognize/seen by world audience. Still, I think that the live version of "O" has a potential to infiltrate radios.

youre so right, thats why i was so mad at the label for picking NMT as first single, i mean it was clear that media were excited with iamamiwhoami type of sounds

This!
Relegating the strongest songs to bonus tracks was a huge mistake. What the **** were her and RCA thinking?

I love iamamiwhoami so much. That project is just so beautiful and creative, and not to mention mind blowing. I really thought it was Christina at first as well, and I was secretly hoping it was. But at the same time, I'm sort of glad it wasn't. While she would have been amazing at that style of music, most of her fans would be absolutely pissed at the genre change, and the press would have responded to it even more negatively than they did to Bionic. They would have said she's trying too hard or something. But then again, if Christina was really behind it, the project (iamamiwhoami) may have been way more successful. I don't know what to think about it. I love Christina and her music, but I'd rather her stick to the music she's been making lately.
I do wish she'd do an album full of songs like "Birds Of Prey", "Monday Morning", "Little Dreamer", and "Elastic Love".

She would have went Gold in the US and NMT might have hit top 20.

iamamiwhoami (aka Jonna Lee) should release an album.
"Y" as the first single and she would smash on all alternative charts! It's her best song yet...most commercial but still very indie
Robyn, Lykke and Her should do something together...I would ****ing DIE!!!
Queens of Sweden!

Those plus 'I Am' and 'Lift Me Up' are my absolute favorite tracks from Bionic. 10/10
I admit that I initially thought that it could had been Christina behind all these videos, but when we started getting more and more info about the album, it was clear that it wasn't her. I would've loved if she was in fact iamamiwhoami, but I'm still happy with what she delivered from Bionic (at least, most of it).
Those were fun times.
