I'm ready for a new single and album. Single in March and album in April?

I'm interested. His 1st album blows besides the singles however, which besides WS still weren't very good.

Hopefully, with this sophomore album he can prove to the public that he is not a single artist.

We'll soon find out.

WS was his weakest (music-wise, not chart/performance-wise, of course..), it's an amazing song and all the tracks on his debut were solid so hopefully he can do the same and also step it up a notch.

His album seems so underrated just comparing the success of his singles to the unsuccess of his album.. such a shame, every song is so solid and 'Love Hangover' was snubbed from being a single.

I liked him, till I saw him live and he was horrendous!
Sure the radio will eat his singles up however.

I didn't really know how it was supposed to go. This is the first time I've done an album thread and Derulo is a worthy artist to do it for.

I actually disagree with you. His album may have not been one of the best of '10, but there were some good non-single tracks. "Encore", "Fallen", "Blind" for example. I just hope he can at least go Gold in the U.S. with this Sophomore album though.

Was he? I don't know.. I saw him at Jingle Ball 2009 and he was AMAZING! I even called him the 'next Chris Brown' (due to his great singing and dancing skills), I was hooked into his performances from the moment he started to the moment he was off the stage. As long as he picks the right singles (aka the upbeat ones, since 'What If' proved that the public isn't interested in anything else but a song to party to) then he'll most likely continue smashing with singles, but hopefully more will go and actually purchase the other songs that won't be chosen as a single.

What If was a moderate success in the Uk thought, Radio took quite a while to pick up on it though.

I remember when i watched him (on tv) at t4 on the beach and he was terrible live. And thats coming from a Really big fan of him.
