As previously reported, the 448,000 downloads for "Born This Way" marks the highest opening-week digital sales total for a female artist and the eighth-greatest week for any title.
Here is a look at Lady Gaga's digital sales to-date, according to Nielsen SoundScan:
6,005,000, "Just Dance," featuring Colby O'Donis
5,957,000, "Poker Face"
4,613,000, "Bad Romance"
2,916,000, "Paparazzi"
2,810,000, "Telephone," featuring Beyonce
2,337,000, "LoveGame"
2,101,000, "Alejandro"
448,000, "Born This Way"
Notably, "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" are the second- and third-best-selling downloads in SoundScan history. The Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling" leads with 6,859,000 (and their "Boom Boom Pow" is fourth, with sales of 5,861,000).
Of the list above, one album track places between "Alejandro" and "Born This Way." From "The Fame," "Starstruck," featuring Space Cowboy and Flo Rida, has sold 679,000 downloads.
