This is cute and interesting, but it would fit better with a song that is lyrically retrospective of one's career as well, something along the lines of RYG, which celebrates the artist's fanbase, well you get my point I think...having these interesting metaphors for the song which sings about drooling over hot guy's body? it just doesn't fit.

I agree with what you are saying but some artists will add meaning to something that is essentially meaningless. It could be a light hearted pop song but the video could have more meaning.
