Btw, as Foxay and some of the people who follow me at Twitter know, I got involved in a car crash last Thursday, then had two tests this weekend - Saturday and Sunday - so I wasn't able to be here with you guys.
Can anyone tell me what's new?
No disaster airplay reports, please.

Actually, not really. After last night it just showed there's not really much competition and her star power is unrivaled. I think JIVE knows the true tea.
When the official tracklisting is finished, that's when she will start promoting. I find it hard to believe that she will do more promo for Circus (the "damage control" album) than Femme Fatale (her would be best album to date). The video will give them a couple more weeks to start promo. And I hope they will be very SELECTIVE when it comes to appearances.

I'm kinda glad Britney didn't attend the Grammys actually, let the others shine (none of the bigger stars really lived up, tbh) and now we have this week to anticipate so it's all Britney from here on
|
Who shined? Lady Antebellum and Arcade Fire? 'Cause the rest, those who actually call themselves Britney competition, were all letdowns.

Umno. I want her management to ***** her out and go on EVERY show possible, and I don't want none of that X favor stuff, I want talk shows like Ellen, Today Show, GMA, and Oprah
She can't mess around this time, she needs to atleast try to sing live, even if the dancings not super charged.

I don't know you, but I hope you're okay. I remember being in rollover back in 09. The scariest moment in my life.
...on the other hand I'm so ready for this Thursday.

Where are the promo announcements, what has she been doing this whole time?
A MESS.

For God's sake people, calm down! I know Jive is sleeping and the promo is late, but DAH Queen herself said that she's doing a lot of promo this era, so what we gotta do is wait and have faith

True tea.
When certain artists are supposed to be a huge threat (some have even claimed Britney's throne has been replaced) for Britney, and they can't even manage a standing ovation from a much-hyped about everything, it's VERY telling.
Britney's presence is electrifying, beyond universal magnitude. No one in the business can compete with that.

Album promotion hasn't begun yet. Stop being so dramatic. They're promoting the video on Twitter... Big ****ing deal. Get over it.

You sound pressed. Regardless if whether she got a standing ovation or not, she has 5 Grammys.
Britney is a great performer. She just needs to stop relying on the name alone and do something. Btw,
FEMME FATALE: Album of the Year

Eew. If I were a manager I'd have to play my cards right. People want what they can't have. If diamonds were cheap and available everywhere, would we want it?
Britney is on a completely different level. I think there has to be some caliber on the shows she appears on, not the kind of promo she did back in the BOMT, OIDIA, Britney, ITZ eras.
Shows -
Oprah
Ellen
Letterman
SNL
Today Show/GMA
Album promo-
Meet and greet w/ fans
Award shows from there on, the only decent ones... but Teen Choice / Nick Awards are fine.
(I'm only talking about US promo)
And I agree about singing live. But that is such a common misconception. Britney sings along with a loud backing track most of the time (notice how she never flinches during interviews when asked about the topic ). Everyone thought Dream Within A Dream Tour in Las Vegas was lipsynched, when she actually sang live along with a backing track (it leaked). And I think she will dance even more this era, she/her management just didn't want to give it all away during the Circus era and save it for a more deserving album (Femme Fatale).

This quiqui person needs their brain checked if they think "Hold It Against Me" is super generic and "Born This Way" is different and original.

Why is everyone so set on live singing? You're letting the lessor's stans influence what's important to you. Britney has never been the artist to depend on for live vocals... You'd think after 13 years you'd get over that...
And she doesn't need to do massive promo. Just standard amount. She's a legend and mother of 2 unlike the lessor girls.
