The recent "Is Lady Gaga trying too hard" thread has garnered a lot of opinions from those who believe she's simply trying "too hard", whatever that means lol...Apparently many here think her theatrics are just a liitle "too much" and only serve as a distraction from her music. Fair point...

But i'm confused because many of those same posters are now claiming her Grammy performance was "too simple" or "plain"..hmmm...

So which is it. Is she trying too hard or not trying hard enough?
