Regardless of the song, the real reason everyone is so angry with BTW's performance is because no one was expecting her to have amazing sales right out of the gate. People kept pointing to Bad Romance's weak opening week sales, to the lyrics, etc. etc. as to why this wouldn't take off.
So what this means is that if Lady Gaga can shatter records with what everyone here is calling her bad gay song, whatever will she do to those charts if she has a PF or BR on the album?

I think we can definitely expect similar success from the next single. I don't know if the reaction is going to be quite as instant as this has been, but overall I don't expect 'Born This Way' to be the best selling single from the album. This is only the beginning.
