Glee Cast is going to break Elvis' record on Hot 100

Presley totaled 108 entries between the chart's launch in 1958 through 2003. (His career predated the list's inception; he scaled various Hot 100 predecessor song charts beginning in 1956).
Following a full week of sales, the three debuting "Glee" songs are expected to soar on next week's Hot 100. With the five songs premiered on Tuesday's (Feb. 8) episode due to join the trio of tracks next week, the "Glee" cast is set to claim the record for most Hot 100 appearances.

107 + 1 (leftover from superbowl ep) + 5 (from silly love songs) = 113 titles by this week.
I think even after Glee ends, it's hard to beat their records. But again, this is only just one in 456465465465654 records on the billboard chart.
you may hate glee (like I do), but i am pretty much impressed by how their songs run down the iTunes chart every single week (which would in turn results in the titles charting on hot 100). It must be a cultural phenomenon or sort to maintain public interest in such way.
Congrats to Glee for all its success as a show, but I think Elvis should still hold this title. Glee is a television show, not an artist. There's what, like 10 singers on that show, plus the guest stars that make up all these chartings?

that's why they are called "Glee Cast", so more like a band kind of thing rather than many artists.

Glee gets promo every week (the episodes), most of the current songs purely depend on radio play in order to chart. So this is not surprising.
I really dislike Glee, especially Lea Michele who murders every song she sings, but the show really influenced popular culture and this is still an achievement so congrats anyway

Glee can me amazing and all, but the fact is a fact, to steal something that Elvis has put his hole life to, by some kids that do a COVERS of others song...
It's just sad that Elvis will lost this title.

but this doesn't count. I mean honestly. They come out with three-five songs every week there's a new episode. Not to mention, no longevity. So they shouldn't even be considered
