Honestly, I like the song. I really do. I heard it about five times in the car today and it sounded great on the radio.

But it's not some revolutionary piece of pop music, in content, meaning or sound. I, for one, am slightly disappointed that this is the song we've all been waiting for. And I think that, as a Lady Gaga fan (which I consider myself), it's perfectly reasonable to recognize and admit that.

It does have meaning. But that same message has been done many times before (in fact, many times in the past few months). I'm just saying that when everyone acts like it's so groundbreaking, they're definitely overdoing it.
