If you pre-order, you can't cancel, otherwise you get charged for the single. You can't just preorder, d/l the song then cancel.
You either stick with buying the album or have to buy the song.
I mean the album is still 3 months away, they could of push the pre-order to next week or the week after. Let the single get the big number for first week sales first.
Now that I think about it, her vocals NEVER disappoint live. She's an excellent performer. Her songs usually sound better live than the studio version. Hew else?

I used to stan for K$ and Katy. but K$ making promises she can't keep (an album sounding like Animal) and all of Katy's crazy & pressed stans drove me away. I love p!nk but in all reality, BTW is better.
