One thing I'm not really loving is how the verses/chorus sound on the radio. The intro/interludes/outro sound amazing, but the mix on the majority of the song sounds pretty weak in that format.
I have an answer. The radio stations are reacting to one of the most anticipated comeback singles in recent years. If GaGa did pay for radio play she wasted her money, the hype alone will send this to the top of the radio charts.

Radio stations across the US did it for "Hold It Against Me" and Mariah Carey's comeback single "It's like that" they played it back-to-back the entire day.

this has never been confirmed. Gaga doesn't need to pay them, the amount of people tuning in to the stations just to hear the song was already insane. actually flz played it 2 times in a row because of that.
