I usually ignore these posts but i'll make an exception this time. NOBODY, especially Gaga, is reaching for Britney's anything. She's light years PAST Britney Spears as far as being a critically admired artist. She's compared to the Legends, and not her peers for a reason. Not only does write her own songs but she's involved with every aspect imaginable that requires the slightest creative sense, and many that don't. She's not a pop puppet, she's an ARTIST who happens to exist in a puppet dominated indusrty.


I swear it drives me insane when people attempt to belittle her success by saying "in the next blah blah amount of years she can finally be in the ranks of blah blah". The reality is she's past her peers, NO "star" of our generation has ever had the (commercial) mass appeal as well as the underlying artistry that she has, so give it a rest. END RANT

I love that despite how excited all of us are, no one's saying this is her best single ever liek so many other stan bases do every time a single comes out.

Bad Romance has carved its comfortable spot as one of the best pop records ever.

Born This Way has plenty of time to carve one as well.

Suffice to say, this is gonna be massive. I also hope ALL other stan bases shut the hell up, because Britney, Ke$ha, Katy, Rihanna, everyone is out there and everyone will be squashed by this inevitable smash. And they will NEVER try coming for Gaga again.

DEAD, just what I thought it was gonna happen... breaking records everywhere, everybody getting shocked for the great release, universal acclaim by "critics" and guess what? Many fans disappointed.

Once again, this is the best thing she ever released. I kinda hate Gaga and everything surrounding her, but this is very very very good.
