" Except it’s actually much better than "Express Yourself," because it’s faster, with Gaga chanting "Don’t be a drag / Just be a queen." "Born This Way" sums up everything gaudy and glorious about Gaga, all her politics and sex and Catholic angst and smeared lipstick, in one admirably compact blast of disco aggression.

So she takes on Britney, Rihanna, Katy, Ke$ha and the rest of the radio queens, pimping her we-are-all-superstars message with a voice that reminds everyone who got this party started in the first place. That’s what makes "Born This Way" sound so audacious and so amazing.
I just heard it for the first time. It's SO different from everything else and it's so strange to finally hear those lyrics in their real form. I love it.
It doesn't top 'Bad Romance' for me but I didn't expect it to. It's the interlude. I'm sure there is A LOT to come with the album.
And also - it's a huge grower.
We are coming for that Hot 100 number one.
The Grammy performance will be epic.
I was starting to like it until I realized...
don't even tell me that the two aren't almost identical
Apparently the word 'homage' is a foreign concept to some people.
People are just impossible to please. It's nearly impossible to do anything 100% orignal without at least some influence from someone else. Even Madonna's songs all came from an inspiration or influence....
