I didn't like the song on first listen, because I was expecting something completely different.. but it gets better and better with each listen! I don't think it's her best work ever (that i hope will come with later singles) but it's an all around great pop song, and i think it's her first shot at getting a huge a/c crossover hit. Can't wait for the Grammys.
That's pretty much how I felt. I'm happy with the song now.
Ok. So I'm definitley disappointed. I got excited this morning to listen to it.
I don't think it's a BAD SONG, but it's just not single-quality. It just sounds like a track/filler for the album, but unfortunately released as a [s]first[/s] single. I got excited this whole year for the song... Now I'm not sure if I'm excited for the album anymore.
