It was generic, too 80's (even for an 80's-inspired theme), and too
much of a Madonna rip off (even for a Madonna-inspired theme).

It does sound like EY and she does copy Madonna...but it's like Ke$ha copies Gaga...it's a cycle that runs in the industry.

many genres she's managed to cram into 'Born This Way'. The others – trance, euro-pop, electro – all rise and fall in thunderous fashion, tamed only by the Lady Gaga's voice, which sounds more mature than ever.
So true. These are her best vocals yet. It was the first thing that struck me when I premiered it.
