"Born This Way" should be #1 within like 3 hrs. It's being released in the morning & the chart is insanely weak right now. Looking at the populartiy bars, the difference between #1 and #10 isn't even that big.
Of course, an email is only being sent out to every owner of an itunes account. You cant get any BETTER promo than that. Britney's ascent will still be more impressive. She had no extensive promo or itunes hype.
