Ahh i remember hearing about her on my facebook people would put links to Just Dance and Pokerface and my first thought was about the weird glasses on the fame cover
But then I actually heard her music and I was like "wow". I was a big fan during the fame but TFM made me a little monsterette

2008 - my old job. They played Just Dance during pre-shows. I also heard it a couple times on the radio. I didn't initially like her at first.

Heard Eh eh on the radio in '08 I think. Yeah I looked her up, loved everything. And then JD was released and she got huge.

First time EVER, it was a really long while back, when Just Dance wasn't blown up or anything, when no one really knew her. I was looking online for music and i saw the song and it's amazing cover and played it, because I sometimes judge by cover I was laying in my bed, really bored and tired, and i was amzed, and then i forced my mom to hear it, and she loved it too

I was so late to Gaga, the first song I heard was I think LoveGame and thinking "this song is so ****ty and she is too" because I was soooo out of the pop scene and didn't know what went on.

I've heard of her and seen her album cover plenty of times before that though, I just never bothered

Heard Just Dance like April 08 at the gym. I figured it was a new Kat Deluna song and I liked it. I remember googling "Lady Gaga" and there was barely any info or images.

Someone posted a thread in the music section of another forum I frequent back in like August of '08 saying "Meet the next big thing - Lady Gaga" and posted the Just Dance video.

I was pretty incredulous, only listened to like the first 30 seconds and didn't give her a second thought until JD was all over the radio toward the end of that December. Then I was like, holy crap, this is a good song.

It's very rare that I love any song right off the bat, though. I'm just that way with music.

I knew trough forums that there was a girl named Lady Gaga who was making catchy dance music and even before I listened to any of her songs I knew I would like it because it was always my thing. So I youtubed "Just Dance", and I just liked it. Same with "Poker Face", same with "LoveGame".

But it wasn't until the video of "Paparazzi" that I knew that this bitch isn't here to play around. And it has been only love since then.

First time was December 2008 on the local radio station. They played Just Dance of course. At the time, I didn't care for pop music and only listened to the radio for rap/hip hop. However, I listened to the entire song and didn't think it was bad. I liked it but didn't really think much of it. The radio guy said something like "Here's new music from a new artist called "Lady Gaga" - here it is Just Dance."

I just can't with the amount of GAGA that is coming starting tomorrow morning...the Single, The Interview and THE PERFORMANCE ON THE GRAMMY'S!!!!!!!!!!!....Without a Doubt, she is the best thing to happen to POP Music in the last 18 years!!!!

I heard Just Dance in the car when I was driving back from the store.

I thought she was going to be a one-hit wonder.....and I thought she was some generic pop bitch from the UK trying to make it in the US.


Everything I thought I knew about her was wrong.

I had a deserve vacation to NY in 08 and i saw a picture of Gaga somewhere... Than when i got back to Brazil i asked a friend: who is Lady Gaga? and she was like: You don`t know Gaga? So she showed me Just Dance and i tought it was great. Then when Poker Face came out i started liking her very much. But i only became i stan with Bad Romance and the masterpiece Alejandro!
