I do agree that maybe she should start working with a vocal coach and improve her technique. But you see, she has been singing since she was 6, I believe. Nobody tought her to sing. And she's still here, with that incredible voice.

Just go listen to Burlesque's soundtrack. And you'll see why I say her voice is still A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

I actually agree with you. However, I wish that she would perform as well live as she does on the record. Often - especially in the last few years - her vocals have not been on point.

And I am both surprised and happy that you can see my point without viewing it as shade, because, no matter my opinion on Christina as a person, I have a lot of respect for her talent. And many Christina stans that I have spoken to fail to acknowledge the weaknesses in her vocal ability.

And thank you for trying to have a decent discussion about this and not be like 'Christina suck, X artist is better, etc.' because it's just pointless.

Christina is not perfect, and I do hope that she gets better with her voice and her live performances, because, as hard it is to me to admit, I feel like something's 'missing' and I'm not talking about her voice. I miss that spark that she used to have, but I know it's been tough times for her, so I try to understand that.

But as far as 'oh she lost her voice' or 'her voice is really damaged', I completely disagree. At least, for now. Call me in a few years, if this keeps happening. Then we'll talk.

She still has one of the best voices and she still is one of the most talented people in the pop music industry.

I actually have been enjoying this little conversation. I think she absolutely could do with some vocal training...she obviously knows how to sing and in many different ways, but the wear and tear on a voice is affecting her voice much quicker than when she was younger. Which is why by the end of the SSB she was straining and wailing instead of belting. A few techniques could absolutely help her. She has turned out really really nice performances (the Haiti Lift Me Up definitely comes to mind...that was powerful and crystal clear and amazing), so we know she hasn't completely lost it...a little adjustments are needed though.

Just look at someone like Kelly Clarkson (one of my absolute fav singers)...her range has definitely changed and her voice has gotten much raspier. But you can tell she knows exactly how to use her voice and always be aware of her limits, which is how she churns out performance after flawless performance without ever dealing with what Xtina does. I am just worried that Xtina is completely too proud and "superior" to deal with someone like a vocal trainer. For all of my love for her, she certainly has a superiority complex when it comes to her voice...I hope for her sake she consults a trainer before her next album, gets some hitmakers, and has a full career rehaul to make us all forget this last year!

First of all, thank you for mentioning that Lift Me Up performance. That was just one year ago and it was BEAUTIFUL, vocally amazing.

I don't know about her being completely superior or too proud when it comes to her voice and working with someone else. I mean, I'm sure she knows she has a God-given gift, but I don't think she really cares about singing with the right technique, I think for her, it's more about the feeling and the emotion. In her childhood, she only listened to jazz, soul singers. So you can hear the influence.

But I do agree, maybe getting to know those techniques and getting to work with a vocal coach would only work great for her, so that her voice will last... well, for a long time.

ATRL is full of nothing, but haters/trolls really I TiVo her performance watched it over and over and she doesn't sound bad.
