The album is nowhere near as good as I expected either, I thought I was the only one.

Nicki is great at rapping, but her R&B/pop stuff leaves much to be desired.

Pink Friday wasn't as good as I expected but I understand what she had to do to establsh herself, hopefully her next album will be more like Roman's Revenge. But congrats to her! & Yasssss Rihanna 895k!!!!

To be fair, I haven't heard the whole album, but I like every single that Nicki has released, so I'm happy for her success with Pink Friday.

I feel the same, but then again, when I look at the album as a whole, and the songs themselves they arent bad, its just the fact that I had so much expectations for it, and I guess I was really disappointed she sang so much, but its not like its a bad album, just the fact that its Nicki and I know she could have came harder. I still love it!

Oh yeah it's far from bad. It's just such a huge, breakthrough, star-making smash album and from that perspective I found it a little disappointing.

Some of Nicki fans are such jokes. Give a damn unbiased opinion. Pink Friday is NOT the best rap album, and anyone who isn't so damn chart-consumed and listens to REAL Hip Hop music would say so.

Anyway, congrats to Nicki for getting a #1 album.

Nobody said it was the best rap album. you have to had been a fan of Nicki before this to understand the direction she took with this album.

some of the best rap albums will never be outdone imo.
but just because it isn't the best rap album doesn't mean it's not a great album.

I was a fan b4 PF and I don't get why she did...I remember her saying she didn't want Your Love on the album but someone leaked it to radio...don't get me wrong the album is good but it's not what I had expected/hoped for. Plus now apparently she is saying she will do more daring stuff or different stuff with her next album...which sounds concerning to me. Kinda makes me think she won't do any more "hardcore" rapping. I don't want her turning into Lady Gaga or even more of a "pop star"
