International Top Tracks on Last.fm: Rihanna, Adele
Topping the Last.fm singles chart the week of January 30 is Rihanna, who usurped the top spot from Katy Perry with the hit "Only Girl (In the World)." Perry drops to second place while pop-soul star Adele climbs into third with her track "Rolling in the Deep."
English singer-songwriter Adele just released her sophomore effort, 21, on January 19 in Japan and January 24 in the UK, where it debuted at number one. The album will release in North America on February 22. The lead single from the album, "Rolling in the Deep," had 24,528 listeners this week.
Rihanna's third cut from her Loud album, "S&M," also climbs into the top ten this week with 19,956 listeners. Last week she dropped a racy new video for the song, featuring celebrity blogger Perez Hilton tied to a leash and walked on a lawn by the singer. In the UK, the track has reportedly been reedited and renamed "Come On," while the video has been banned in several countries.
