I of course have more intellectual thoughts on the whole thing (I am now 23 lol) and that is that I think religion and faith is more out of fear than out of real belief. Just my opinion

I completely agree with you. I actually grew up Catholic (and Christian, too) as well. I went to both Catholic and Christian churches, and when I found out all those things I believed in were just one big lie, I felt the same applied to religion. And I agree with you. Since nobody really knows what happens to us when we die, I think alot of people hop on the religion bandwagon. Also, alot of people need religion and God to feel like they have a purpose on this Earth, and the Bible justifies alot of their thoughts and actions, both positive and negative.
