Because it is a private school loads of people are overly snobbish about music. If something charts then according to them it must be ****.
Right?!?! I don't even go to a private school and this happens. And trust me, I like some indie stuff, but all mainstream music is not crap. That's just the way it is.
Successful music is mainly bad music nowadays. There are very few artists who can consolidate critical acclaim with commercial success. Gaga is, fortunately, one of them.
In many cases, yeah. I am kinda ready for this electro-pop trend to tone down....or at least for producers to begin experimenting with new sounds. Hopefully GaGa will do that with BTW.
I agree with some of those, but that's not my main beef with these people. They just despise music that has success. Its very, very odd. Its like a huge trend of youth in America today wanting to go against the crowd and, in doing so, creating a paradoxical clique of their own.
Oh lord....
Just wait till friday when the songs come out.... it just might get ugly.
I wanna make the comparison poll for HIAM vs BTW, but it's not happening, cause i have to go to school, even though i BEGGED my mom to let me stay home from school
Honestly I could see the next few months rivalling the Xtina-Britney Stan Wars of the Early 00s
It already is.... I've seen some pretty nasty tweets from each side. Pretty much 90% of the tweets with "femme fatale" attached are in some way attacking Gaga.

It will probably get shut down pretty quick. It's gonna start some stan wars.
The album and lead single are both titled “Born This Way.” As we all know, Gaga was not born Gaga, rather Stefani. The effect they used on her skin seems to have been used as a way to kind of make it seem like something is trying to come out of her skin. Maybe she is, yet again, subtly trying to tell us that there is a human being or something else underneath the Gaga persona. Or maybe it’s her way of telling us that we all have something deeper and stronger on the inside and we need to let it out in order to be who we really want/need to be. Nothing Gaga does is “just ‘cause,” she always has a meaning and a reason behind every outfit, performance, picture, etc, so it makes sense to me.
My school was divided with her. I was more critical of the performance than others.
I was surprised when people actually started talking about her album when they were talking about her performance. I was like...people actually know about her album?
