I will be glued to THIS as soon as I wake up on Friday, audio ripper at the ready.

Even if Radio One doesn't play it, I found a US radio station that has livestreaming that will be playing it every hour, so you can bet I'll be listening all day at work

It had about one tenth the hype that BTW has had. It topped the digital chart for four weeks, she was just really unfortunate to miss out on the Hot 100 #1.

8 am is perfect, it's a much more convenient time than 3 am. They're centralising the première around Greenwich mean time. Very interesting.

Well at first it was Empire State of Mind blocking it on the Hot 100 because it hadn't accumulated enough airplay yet.... and then Ke$ha took over with sales cuz the holiday period tends to favor music from newer artists... and the rest is history.
