Yes, they'll definitely do that. Hopefully both of them will go to #1. I think we can expect them to. The second one will probably be the bigger hit because it's supposed to be more commercial, but I think we can still expect very strong sales from BTW.

If Born This Way does not reach #1 then that would be bad! Rihanna, Katy, and Kesha are landing #1 left and right. I feel like BTW will not be US radio friendly, which is OK because I get the feeling she will rank in the top 5 for year end WW charts. I think it is almost promised that this song will go #1 in many countries. Since the single is so hyped and the promo lined up is amazing, I foresee BTW hitting #1 in the US. If not in its 1st week, then shortly afterwards.

Exactly. The main reason some people don't think she's going to top the chart is because of BR. They say she doesn't have "instant appeal" and it goes back to that song. Had BR gone to #1 then they would not have so much doubt. The reality is that we can't use 'Bad Romance' as a reference because her popularity has soared significantly since then, and there's also the fact that this single has been hyped up to an extent that BR never was. This song should be #1 for a variety of reasons.
