Some melodies can be defined as gay. I don't know how to explain it, but I know it exists.

I don't know about that. I think that's something people will usually reflexively ascribe to a melody once they've heard the lyrics. If the lyrics make them think a song is "gay," they'll associate that with the melody, but it isn't necessarily intrinsic to it.
