Vanessa Carlton has confirmed via Twitter that her new album titled "Rabbits On the Run" will be released this upcoming spring. The album is said by her to be the most personal of all and one of her most inspired. She stated the album is actually over 37 minutes long, and is being mixed and mastered now. Her website was recently changed to prepare for the new era (see below).

I was thinking about her riding my bike home, I saw all these houses and thought about how when she was a little girl she used to wonder what went on in them, when she rode in the car with her parents. I was thinking the same thing. I have her Heros and Thieves album but haven't got into it.

I'm excited that her and Michelle Branch are both returning with new albums. It will be like 2002 all over again. They both dominated that year.

She's from my hometown! Love her! Although when she performed last summer at our town's music festival she was a total bitch and didn't want to meet any of her fans.
