The BTW countdown ends at 9:00 PM, so I'd assume that's when she's performing. That's probably best because it would give her the most exposure since more people are watching from 9:00-10:00 than any other hour.

Yeah, I think it's technically supposed to run from 8:00-11:00 PM, but it does go over some times.

The idea of closing the show is a bit overrated, IMO. By that point people are pretty tired and viewership has eroded.

Yeah, the closing will probably be Dog Days Are Over. Something really good, but not worth staying up for.

I agree, but i'm sure the Grammy's tried their hardest to get her to fill that spot so they could maintain the anticipation, and therefore viewers, throughout the show...

Opening is the worst! Last years show went ALL downhill after Gaga was done performing.

Not necessarily. The fewest amount of people are actually watching 8:00-8:30 PM. You have a lot of people tuning in late who will have missed your performance.

I mean it's great if you can pull off a show-stopping opener, but it's not the ideal slot, IMO.
