3. Russian Roulette - Good song, but not lead single worthy. How do you go from 'Umbrella' to this as your lead? Not smart, and an obvious attempt at her label trying to cash in on the Chris Brown madness.

Even some of the world's best vocalists can't make ballads successful when they are released as first singles. "Russian Roulette" did good, it was a hit worldwide, it underperformed mainly in the US.
I though she wanted show as PoP/Rock star with not plastic music but after killed the world with a spanish smash hit "La Tortura" she came out with this... i was like ewww, it is a good song, nice lyrics but just like the last single of the album!
But honesty in OF2, there's no many choices for being a "Lead Single" i would have picked: Animal City or Costume makes the clown!
If it had been in Spanish and a single from Fijacion Oral, it would've smashed in South America. Although I suppose that's not saying much for a Shakira song.
