Normally, pop lyrics look really bad on paper when you don't hear the song, and this is no exception. But the thing is, this has a lot of LGBT references and much of the world - especially America - I'm not sure if they're ready for something like this to be all over the radio. Ii was like that too earlier. You just have to let it all sink in. You'll go back and read the lyrics and realize she knows what she's doing. I have faith in her. You'll be convinced after you see her perform her heart out at the Grammy's i guarantee it.

I like listening to songs first, then searching / learning the lyrics.
I don't know about other people.
I agree with Kunt; if I read some more of Gaga's lyrics before hearing the track, I would be disappointed.

In my opinion, the lyrics to Empire State of Mind are very cheesy, especially the chorus, but that song is an anthem and became a huge hit obviously.

This whole thing reminds me of the New Years annoucement. Alot of doubt, and complaints of being "disapointed."
We will see in two weeks how this all turns out. I'm not worried.... it will sure cause some stir at the grammys though.

I hope so. I really really hope so. If this era is anything less than perfect I don't know what will happen to my Gagaloo. These days one flop album can ruin a girl's career.

DITD can't touch Bad Romance, but that's just my opinion. DITD Is overrated, but I can see how one could say the same about Bad Romance. I don't even think DITD comes close to Poker Face....like at all actually.
