Microscopic? She tweeted the remark about Alejandro to 4 million followers. She makes these remarks either on social media or various media outlets - when you're a pop star like she is, your remarks are hardly microscopic unless you say them in private conversation. And dead at you calling them truth, they're opinion. Madonna used "blasphemous" imagery in her videos and many, many people do not consider it "as cheap as a fart joke." |
Oh, goodness. I stan for Lady GaGa because of her music+videos+performances and all that she stands for as a person. I still roll my eyes at her over-the-top proclamations. (That doesn't mean I want them to stop, I like the ridiculousness). I'm defending Katy because she is allowed to have an opinion and voice it to whoever she wants. It doesn't MATTER that she doesn't like Lady GaGa, but GaGa's fans get all threatened and defensive whenever a person doesn't kiss her ass. What is the big deal in Katy saying these things? What difference does it make? She's not taking away from the quality of GaGa's work, she isn't converting stans to join her side. She's giving an opinion and you are all getting up in arms about it, when it really shouldn't matter. Obviously you find her important enough and worth enough of your time to let her words impact you so much.
