It doesn't matter what it is

And again, you are wrong about them not having international success, because
ASIA IS NOT ONE NATION. It is a continent with several individual nations. It's not one nation any more than Europe is. United Kingdom, Spain, France, Russia ... One nation? No. United States and Mexico, one nation? I think not. What is so difficult to understand about that? I think you're getting
international confused with
global or
world-wide. 2 different definitions.
On the subject of 'relevancy', you seem to think that the only success that matters is success that is apparent to you. Are Utada Hikaru's 50 million+ albums sold readily apparent to you in Holland? Probably not, but are you going to try and tell me that over 50 milli is irrelevant? Honestly, "relevant" is a very subjective term to argue with... One country's customs and culture may not be "relevant" in another country, for example.

Likewise, it doesn't have to crack the Hot 100 to be an international smash. It was an international smash before it cracked the Hot 100.

No. Actually, I didn't imply you whatsoever. You taking the defensive because you felt like it applied to you is not my fault or my problem.
