A lot of fans don't go to concerts though. And it depends on the location. If you go to a massive city, then yes. But if you go to less metropolitan areas you'll find it is different.

If you mean the kind of fans who buy multiple albums and dress up like her, etc. then yes, I agree with you. But average fans who like her music and buy some of it on iTunes are a lot more diverse than we presume. Look at her Just Dance sales, out of 5.5+ million (don't know the exact figure at the top of my head) people who bought it, they can't all be gay lol.

Exactly. I went to the Monster Ball in Atlanta in December 2009 and it was a gayfest. But then I went to the one in Charlotte, NC in September and there were significantly less gays.

I feel like she is doing a good deed but always talking about the gay community might help her in the long run.. Or could destroy or make her less popular to all. But when looking at legends like Elton John, Madonna, & Janet.. it could also help her as well I guess we have to see how it all plays out.

Because of her connections with the gay community, GaGa is a guilty pleasure for many men. I remember one time my roommate was playing his iPod which comprises mostly of music like The Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, etc. and Bad Romance came on. He skipped it immediately. I kind of chuckled inside, but moreover I was pissed that he skipped BR.

He probably thought people would think he was gay if someone heard him listen to it.. because that's how it is for me now.. I guess the fear of what people will think if you listen to Gaga?

You have to be ready to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale otherwise they'll sell out. She's a very in-demand act.

I used to be worried, but I don't really care anymore. I have a diverse taste in music so people don't really notice too much GaGa. I don't really get the connection with liking a female artist and being gay. Sure, if your iPod is like: GaGa, Britney, Madonna, Aretha, Whitney and nothing else, then maybe lol. But music touches everyone differently and it most of all doesn't discriminate.

I find that a lot of people don't really understand music nowadays. They think all that it is good for is dancing and listening to when you're bored. As long as it makes them want to move they like it. They don't feel motivated to understand it or relate it to their own lives, which I find very sad.

That pisses me off so much. It makes me so mad when someone assumes you are gay because you like a certain kind of music. I mean...that's just stupid. Your sexuality has like nothing to do with your music choice. It is the most unfounded, ludicrous assumption ever.
