When a contemporary successful female artist is known for parading around her sexuality, and she hits 40, she falls victim to the sales slump. Ask Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. Plus, it appears Jennifer Lopez is also suffering the same fate.
However, just because they are old enough to be the mothers of Rihanna and Lady Gaga does not mean they should stop. I am practically dying for a new Janet Jackson album. But until then, I’ll settle for what J.Lo has on offer. Earlier today during a twitter discussion with RedOne, she hinted some details about one of their collaborations for her upcoming new album ‘Love?’: “I see you RedOne!” she wrote :“
We’re making BIG things happen ‘On The Floor’ this new year!!!”.
That may be so but will BIG things be happening on the charts? That’s more important than anything. Hopefully, some of that American Idol promo will help push things along.
