I know what you mean, but i think this poll is kinda hard, i mean in Colombia's case we have 5 regions, and u r from Bogota and Im from the coast, u shud know our musical tastes in general are too differents so far, just an example there: Pipe Bueno is a Star, for us he's nothing.
The same with local artist.
But being back on topic at least here in Cartagena those artist have a big fame... And here Music market doesnt help too much, i mean with those "Sales"... anyway i mentoned Rihanna cuz She has had a big buzz with Umbrella, Please, Dont Stop the music, RudeBoy, Love the way you lie and now with What's my name? though

Rihanna is popular in Colombia, Beyonce not so much, she is known for sure though but Rihanna > Beyonce.

Really? Britney Spears successful in Colombia? I don't think so.
