I listened to the song and I don't get it. The only supposed similarity is in Britney's refrain "If I said I want your body, would you hold it against me?" Um, that's a common pick-up line, and if you read they're interview on EW.com (http://music-mix.ew.com/2011/01/11/b...it-against-me/), the Bellamy Brothers even admit that they got it from a TV show that they once saw. So basically, this whole thing is a ridiculous, attention-grabbing farce.
i don`t think they have a problem with the melody. just that one phrase. kind of strange either way....i am sure there are similarities between many songs.
If they are trying to stake claim to a popular pick-up line (one that doesn't ever work on females for the few straight dudes browsing here ), I will die. The only similarity between the two is the pickup line which they didn't even create. What's next, "Hey, over there" is a ripoff of _______________?!
