Shameless self promoter Will.I.Am recently said the following to NOW magazine about the King Of Pop and a certain jumpstart...

Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am has revealed that the late Michael Jackson was keen to duet with Cheryl Cole.

Will used to talk to Michael about Cheryl and is gutted the perfect pop pairing will never be.

‘I told him Cheryl was the hottest thing in the UK and could sing and dance – basically, she was the complete package,’ says Will, 35.

‘He would have worked with her, no doubt, and it would have been something special.

‘Michael was excited about everything I told him about Cheryl.

‘It could have been one of the great collaborations of recent history.’

Though X Factor judge Cheryl won’t get to make music with Jackson – who died in June 2009 – Will insists she isn’t short of options.

‘There are still lots of great artists waiting to work with Cheryl when she gets over to the US’

But her and Michael would have created something that would make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.’


I'm not even quite sure what to say to this. The GOAT to work with someone who can barely dance, and couldn't pick up a note let alone hold one?
