On Britney's new single... I'm very underwhelmed. After repeated listens, it's not that different from that bland Bonnie McKee demo, and that's not good.
The dubstep break is the only thing that saves this from being a trainwreck. Even you guys back from the states recognized the beat and the chorus as something from cheesy 90s Ibiza. And I hope no one gives me heat for this, but it does sound like something Ke$ha would do. Max Martin and Dr. Luke really are pop abominations. It's a shame.
I'm very disappointed, especially after people hyped this as better than Toxic... It doesn't even hold a candle next to it.
I hope down the road Britney releases something that's up to par with Toxic, Gimme More and Womanizer, which are clearly her superior singles and tower over this.
What did you guys think?

It's catchy, but very Kesha. So yeah, a little underwhelmed.

Your lucky day, Peep.
There's a Britney thread gorls. Discuss it there, or I'll be making frequent visits. Thanks.

I guess it's just the radio premiere. I heard Gaga wanted it to be "known" before the Grammy's performance, but It could just be a rumour.

I obviously don't agree with the comment you quoted, but if we go to the Brit thread and express our personal opinions, we'll be called "pressed" etc and get reported.

In a world where someone that criticizes music can actually understand and read it.

Yup, that's what they do if you are not all up Britney's ass. Plus it's impossible to have a convo there about it with all the gifs and orgasmic death posts

No, you wouldn't. Because some of the posts aren't hateful, but still clearly negative comments will come up and that will: (1) cause a fight in here due to 1 or 2 stans, (2) the thread will be closed, (3) Nicole will blame all Britney stans when maybe 1 or 2 would instigate. And well, I don't think you guys would find it worth it in the end.

Exactly, and I'm not here for that. Plus, it's insane out there and our posts would be lost in the shuffle. I'd rather discuss it with people here who are not having an anxiety attack over at the Britney thread.
I can only imagine SYG (*goes there*)

So, coming to the Lady Gaga thread is the 2nd best option? There are polls to discuss the single if you feel so strongly.
