Let's be realistic: it's probably going to someone nominated for ROTY. Also, Lady Gaga opened last year; she's not going to do the honors two years in a row. Lady Antebellum's song is probably too sleepy to kick off the show and Eminem/Rihanna opened the VMAs. Maybe Katy Perry (though she's a AOTY nominee)?
Eminem performs Airplanes with B.o.B & Hayley Williams, then they both leave and Rihanna enteres and they perform LTWYL. Then, Eminem leaves and various artists, featured and not featured on "All of the Lights" enter and start singing the song.
Then, when they sing loud "turn on all of the lights", suddenly everything goes dark and quiet, and you can hear GaGa's voice continuing the song, which slowly turns into "Telephone" acapella, with Beyonce entering the scene and the lights go on with only GaGa and Beyonce on the center of the stage performing Telephone.
GaGa opens with her new single, when thereafter a smooth transition to Telephone takes place. Beyonce joins her on stage & for the first time the two superstars perform their worldwide smash together

Bruno performing something oldschool would be cool. Maybe something by marvin gaye...the grammy's usually pay homage to someone/have today's artists sing music by the legends
