I honestly have no idea what to expect from the first single. The snippet she sang at the VMA'S didn't sound like the melody would go with dance beats. We'll see.
But the thing is, it backfires for some artists (Ke$ha and Katy) and works really well for others (Justin Bieber and especially Taylor Swift). I think Gaga could be an artist where it works to her advantage.

Or are you in "trouble" because she's not?
I know it's plainly obvious, but it's not supposed to be confirmed by anyone.
So maybe it's a surprise. But it worried me that I was asked to take it down immediately
I don't want her to do such a countdown actually. It's what lots of artists are doing & she doesn't have to go with them. But I'm sure it would be good for her if BTW really has 20 songs. If 5 of them are on iTunes before the album comes out, there'd still be 15 new songs.
I definitely do not want to know FIVE songs prior to the album. That takes away from the experience of it all.

Not to be rude but who are you to confirm it?
It's not as if it was on GaGaDaily, it was on a stan's Twitter account.

If they want Taylor numbers or close to Taylor's numbers, they'll need to ship out like 2-3 million copies and make sure it's available in every store. And they'll need to have exclusive deals. Pink Friday is also one of the smartest releases of 2010 because they offered exclusive tracks with Best Buy, iTunes. They also offered limited edition lipsticks, posters, and t-shirts with different retailers.
