Also, there was a media outburst for her album being nominated for AOTY. It is already widely considered the worst nomination ever in that category in Grammy history.

There's good music and there's bad music. There are good artists and talentless artists. It's always been like that, regardless of how many fans they have. Right? It is factual that she doesn't make good music.

RedOne will hopefully be the first producer. There is no way Fernando can live up to Poker Face or Bad Romance. If he does, then I will be very surprised. So hopefully RedOne produced the lead single, then I'm guessing a smash from Fernando as the second.

I'm still holding onto the idea of releasing two singles before Born This Way is released. I just don't think it would make any sense not to do so. I'd understand if the album was being released in March, but since it is May it just seems to fit for her to release two singles before the album's release.

But I'm afraid, that if she'd do that, she could end up with sales like Katy's Teenage Dream. It won't be as low as hers I know, but I'm just saying :S.

Katy did a similar thing with Teenage Dream. Same gap between first single and the album, and Teenage Dream (the single) was released inbetween. I think Gaga will do the same with this album. It looks like Interscope may be studying the strategy Katy has used with TD, since it has been extremely successful thus far.

(But maybe this is just wishful thinking because I want to hear all the music I can before the album drops.

I think Katy's problem was doing that stupid iTunes Countdown thing. Yeah, she released two singles to radio, but by the time the album came out, 5/12 songs were already on iTunes. I think THAT'S what killed her sales.

So, I don't know what to think. And, I think they've got inspiration from Taylor too ^

Could be possible. I didn't know she was doing something like that. But we also had many songs of Taylor's album and that one sold huge. I really hope BTW will smash.

But the thing is, it backfires for some artists (Ke$ha and Katy) and works really well for others (Justin Bieber and especially Taylor Swift). I think Gaga could be an artist where it works to her advantage.

I don't want her to do such a countdown actually. It's what lots of artists are doing & she doesn't have to go with them. But I'm sure it would be good for her if BTW really has 20 songs. If 5 of them are on iTunes before the album comes out, there'd still be 15 new songs.
