On page 21: Joseph Germanotta’s daughter, Stefani Germanotta, just signed a recording contract with Universal/Island Def Jam Records, the recording label of Mariah Carey and Lionel Richie. Her stage name is Lady GaGa. Her first album for Universal/Island Def Jam Records is scheduled for the summer 2007.

But it also could be someone whole new. I mean she said she worked with lots of new producers, to create new sounds. But I also think, it'll be RedOne.
Yeah I'm betting on RedOne too. I love Fernando but if they wanna continue with the Poker Face-Bad Romance streak, they need RedOne's sound. Fernando could never pull off a Bad Romance. But I love him still.
On another note, I LOVE how Gaga never worked with friggin Dr Luke and Max Martin. She's above that and if she hasn't worked with them up until now, she'll never do it. Love her even more for that.
Team RedOne I'll be interested to see what her and Garibay have produced too though, so I don't mind who did the first single.

I agree, she's sticking to her own sound, not running to them to get a quick and easy surefire hit like many of the other girls are.
