Idolator Readers Vote for 2011's Most Anticipated Albums

Last week we put up a poll asking readers to vote for which upcoming album they’re most looking forward to in 2011. At times over the past few days it was a tight race, mostly between Lady Gaga’s Born This Way and Britney Spears’ not-yet-titled seventh LP (check out the demo for her upcoming “Hold It Against Me” single). Kanye West & Jay-Z, Watch The Throne (8,877)
Dr. Dre, Detox (4,283)
Lil Wayne, Tha Carter IV (3,191)
Both Britney’s “Hold It Against Me” and Kayne and Jay-Z’s “H.A.M.” singles are due out on January 11, while Spears’ upcoming album is said to be coming this March.
Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” single has a February 13 release date. She tweeted on New Year’s Eve that the full album is set to arrive on May 23.
