Well if it isn't, then it should and will be... do you see the company name on the logos of Apple, Nike etc.? That's what Starbucks is trying to do...

I do think the 'STARBUCKS' font is more iconic than the mermaid, but I like this new logo and I think you guys will all appreciate it in no time. It's a real symbol now, like Apple or Nike.

The Chai is everything as far as their tea goes. You can't go wrong with Vanilla Skinny in the coffee dept.
