Well yeah. Selena Gomez winning over Justin Bieber? Katy Perry winning over Gaga? Demi Lovato winning over Britney? LOL. But it's an irrelevant award show, ratings have been going down for years and they simply can't get big names to show up.

I don't know about the other categories but who would honestly believe that Selena & The Scene could win over Justin Bieber in a fan voting category, especially when this kid won all the AMA's over artists like GaGa, Eminem and everyone else a few weeks ago. So fake.
What's so surprising about the votes?? Rihanna and Katy Perry as well as taylor Swift are some of the hottest artists currently and they have many young fans who have the time to vote tons. Congrats to the winners!!

Katy and Taylor were in categories with other artists with bigger, more active fan bases. Just look at every other poll with Gaga and Katy in it. Gaga wins mainly because of her fans who consistently vote. That why there is surprise. Especially with Selena and Britney no way in hell would Selena win that award just by fans voting. Britney has one of the largest fan bases.
All award shows are rigged anyway, but it's funny seeing a major publication so blatantly pointing it out.

I only watch the Grammys & VMAs & semi-care about who wins. The rest I don't use unless an artist I like is performing. The PCAs are irrelevant, they were last night & no one is talking.
