Agreed. Completely.
In the past, artists used to flop SO hard with debut albums, maybe even 2nd and 3rd albums as well, and the label would still support them. But now, if an artist doesn't catch on within a certain time limit, they have to cut their losses and drop them. It's really sad when it happens to really talented people like Sky. But the good news is, if she does get dropped, she's well-known enough to have other labels offering to sign her. I guarantee she'll sign to a different label within weeks if she's dropped.
